In an Emergency
For a medical emergency, call 911. This includes loss of consciousness, trouble breathing, seizures, chest pain, severe confusion, or a suspected overdose.
For immediate mental-health or substance-use crisis support, call or text 988. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline connects people in the United States with trained crisis counselors 24 hours a day, every day, by phone, text, or chat.

What We Are Not
Princeton Detox Support Group is not a crisis or emergency service. Our phone line is for general treatment information and referral support during ordinary conversations. It is not a crisis hotline, emergency line, clinical line, or admissions line, and it should not be used in place of 911 or 988.
Other Around-the-Clock Public Resources

If You Are Unsure Where to Start
When there is any question about immediate physical safety, call 911. When the situation is an emotional or substance-use crisis without an immediate medical emergency, 988 is designed for exactly that call. Neither service requires you to know the right words in advance.
